1. The purpose<br />

The Windows True Type Symbol Font MARVOSYM.TTF is a valuable <br />
addition for any office or civil engineering purpose. It contains<br />
often-needed but rarely available symbols as Fax Machine, Answering<br />
Machine, Cellular Phone, Steel Profile Symbols, the original Euro <br />
Currency Symbol and lots more.<br />

2. How to install<br />

In Windows 9x, all you need to do is to copy MARVOSYM.TTF into the <br />
directory C:\WINDOWS\FONTS. Alternatively, you can follow the menu <br />
path Start / Settings / Control Panel / Fonts / File / Install New <br />
Font. In Windows 3, you need to install the font from Main / <br />
Control Panel / Fonts / Add. In Windows NT 4, begin with My <br />
Computer / Control Panel / Fonts / File / Install New Font.<br />

3. The status<br />

Freeware. <br />
You may use it at no cost but you have to use it at your own risk.<br />

4. The distribution status<br />

The Archive MARVOSYM.ZIP is freely distributable. You are not <br />
allowed to make any changes to its files. You are not allowed to <br />
delete any files from it.<br />

6. Known problems<br />

Certain Microsoft products seem to make trouble when used together <br />
with MARVOSYM.TTF (missing or too small characters). There are free<br />
software products like Star Office 5.1 that work well.<br />
