Parseltongue v1.0 --December 17, 2000-- (released Oct 31, 2001)

Hello! Thanks so much for checking out "Parseltongue," an original font inspired by J.K. Rowling's Harry Potter books. The serpentine aspects of the font and the font's title have to do with the second book of the series, _The Chamber of Secrets_.

I hope you enjoy this Art Nouveau-ish Potterly font. A word to the wise: it definitely works best for display text.

You are welcome to share this free font with your friends. Please distribute
it with this readme (the compressed file is an easy way to pass it along!)
As always, CarpeSaponem fonts is in no way affiliated with J.K. Rowling or any of her publishers.

Have fun!

--------------------------------------------------August 4, 2000------
Hi there! Thanks for checking out Lumos v.1, a freeware font inspired
by the Harry Potter books! I made this font after long unsuccessful
searches for the display font used in the US editions of Harry Potter.
I am excited to use the font, and I am equally happy to share it with
other fans of J.K. Rowling's fabulous books.

TO USE THIS FONT: copy lumos.ttf to your Fonts folder in the Windows
directory.

You can use it in CAPS ONLY for a more true-to-the-book look, or use
the 'small-caps' (lowercase) letters which have a few quirky variations.
Don't forget to be on the lookout for the hidden dingbats -- I think I
put in six. If you look really hard, you might find the super-tiny
golden snitch! :-)

You are welcome to share this font with your friends. Please distribute
it with this readme (the zip file is an easy way to pass it along!)

Enjoy!

A rather rough interpretation of a font based on
the few letters supplied from a scan of the harry potter
book.

To actually type the words Harry Potter as it appears
on the book cover type the following

H a r Alt0161 y
P o t Alt0164 e Alt0165

Alt0167 will save time by typing the word Potter whole.

All best
